The "Shift Dress"

Salaam my lovelies

I know I know I Know I promised to post this look post yesterday. However... Mama Bespoke Arrived yesterday from my best city Cape Town and its always somewhat difficult to focus on my daily task when she is around. The last time I saw her was a month ago, but to me it always seems like forever. My youngest sisie Laeeqah accompanied mama to join us in celebrating my sister Warda's bridal shower this Saturday...which will be held at Isabella's Patisserie. Man oh man I am so stoked and can't believe that her big day is literally around the corner.

My lovelies...Today I will be sharing with you a look that I wore on a coffee date this past Tuesday.  I decided to wear  something comfy that could be worn casually or simple dressed up. Yep the "shift dress". I decided to dress it down. I believe a Shift Dress is something all women should want in their closest…Modest or not... Its a must have item  ....However  especially since it traditionally hangs loose from the shoulders with very little or no definition in the waist, making it a “hit” for women with different body types.

Dressing in modest attire I found it  wonderful (a huge bonus!) to find a dress that doesn't hug your body too tight (and is in style)… or you need to be a size 0 to wear and look fab .

Another cool thing which I did was to add a belt. If you desire more contouring to your body, it’s such an easy fix to toss on a belt or a sash.

Jumpsuit and Pearls!!!

Asalaamualaikum beautiful souls

After much deliberation, I decided to do this particular look post. It's 11:00 pm and I'm setting in front of my PC with my eyes half closed. LOL...

Wore this Jumpsuit to a smart causal family event I attended recently. I was looking for a more casual outfit so that I could spruce it up with charming accessories to give it that smart casual look. I opted for a jumpsuit in a lightweight cotton that features a pretty print.  The silhouette easily takes on a dressy vibe — and it’s such a fun and also an unexpected alternative to a dress!

Whether you heading out  to a function or on a dinner date or just looking for something more casual to sport on a Saturday, you can’t go wrong with a jumpsuit. The trend has been a major staple, both on and off the red carpet. Finding the perfect jumpsuit you would need to keep your body type in mind and finding the right shape for your figure and you’re bound to look fabulous!

So for this particular look I've paired it with a beautiful pearl and diamante earrings and a necklace set, that I received from the lovely Farah Bibi Moosa. However I used the necklace as a head-piece. How versatile it that.....  So beauts...Farah is the owner of Rebel Funk Accessories. A small home based operation in the beautiful city of Cape Town. Rebel Funk is known to be an upmarket fashion accessory brand. They stock local and international designed and sourced products. So if you looking for anything vintage and girly you sure to find at Rebel Funk. Last but not least you will most certainly be blown away by there amazing prices. Contact details below they always ready to knock your socks off.

Florals and spring.

Asalaamualaikum blooming ladies!
As I've designed a range of Long High waist-ed flowy skirts which is available on my online store
http://bespoke-hijabi-by-wh-2.myshopify.com/
I would like to emphasis that the floral print is by far my front runner. So electrified to share this look post with you.

When you think of spring, you think of flowers. Or at least I do. The best way to celebrate
spring where you can channel into your wardrobe and toss on a floral print piece. Floral prints are ultra-feminine and pretty . I like to consider it a traditional girly girl’s go-to item of the season.

As a self-proclaimed super feminine gal, the floral print trend is right up my alley.
Floral for spring isn't groundbreaking by any means, but this season’s blooms are something else. They’re more sophisticated, modern, and fresh (and not at all the garden-variety type). The blossoming print runs the gamut, from sweet buds like as seen on the runways. Taking the form of light-as-air dresses, exquisite gowns, tailored suits, flowy skirts and silky jumpsuits alike. If you’re not keen on approaching a head-to-toe floral look, this season offers plenty of equally stunning alternatives.

Prints are especially good for mixing pieces up. Personally, if I wear any sort of floral print or pattern, I don’t match it with what I’m wearing.  I've  picked a floral print skirt  which is from my collection can be purchased on my online store as as you can see I paired it with a solid color top. That way, the focus of my outfit will solely be on the skirt and not everything else. I've also balanced it with neutral  pumps and soft accessories ,along with a nude vintage leather handbag. My favorite saying "less is more."

For me spring is the right season to have a sense of dreamy playfulness. There’s something about spring that makes me ten times happier than any other season. Maybe it’s the promise of a new beginning or a sense of renewal after hibernating from winter’s chill. No matter how you look at it, spring invites you to come out and play.

Le Denim and a Great Giveaway coming to Facebook Soon

Salaam Everyone!

As I take a seat and start this blog post, I breathe out a huge sigh of relief.

Wow, these past three weeks have been so manic whilst also having to deal with the sudden loss in my family. If there's one thing I've learnt from this, it would be never to take life for granted.

My beautiful aunt was an extremely healthy human being with immense energy and to our surprise went back to bed after Fajr and just never returned. I suppose it was her time. Yet very despairing for the entire family. May Allah SWT grant her Jannatul Firdous Insha allah.

On a brighter note, my blog turned a year last Friday, 3 October 2014 algamdulilah. Haven't blogged in a while and feels stupendous to be back. To celebrate my birthday
