Oh so relaxed and the embossed Number

Asalaamualaikum my Lovelies

As my blog turns a year next month on 3 October 2014, literally 3 days after my birthday Insha Allah. I am pleased to share with you....that the whole concept behind the blog has been challenging yet extremely rewarding Algamdullilah. So keep watching as I will be bringing to you some exciting news in weeks to come.

As I'm in love with anything embossed this season. In this look post I am wearing an embossed hemlock shade number, from the one and only YDE. I paired it with a cotton Lycra tee and my all time fave the Harem pant.  A must have item for all muslimahs I believe.
As Spring is all about introducing some colour, texture and bold prints into your wardrobe. I decided to go with a achromatic color as my base and decided to be a bit daring by adding a pop of red to give it an edge and a vintage tinge, comes the verdant shade hemlock. It’s a beautiful pastel green, very different from the dominant greens of recent seasons. You can pair any versatile pastel shade with a bolder hue for an au courant look.

It is no secret that pastels seems to be the colours of the moment, from bold, pastel or powder shades these colours has successfully crept its way onto the high street and don't seem to be going anywhere in a hurry. So what better time to rock this ultra-feminine shade than Spring?

What I also did in this look as per the above pics, is a bit of a change up, by added a short cardi and a patent belt. There are so many options when it comes to styling. However its always great to work with guidelines and  incorporate your own sense of style that makes you feel fab and comfy.

I would love for you to send me pics on your fave spring item this spring.

Just so Ordinaire and the Gilet

Salaam to one and all.

Between preparing a gourmet meal for hubsy and whipping up a dessert. Decided to do a quick look post in between. So yes! Spring has diffinately sprung. We've been experiencing great weather in the city of Johannesburg and so to speak.... have no longer any excuses left  to give to my princess, about the fact that it's to cold to be out. So we basically spent this whole weekend entertaining her. Nothing more she loves than to play and be outdoors.

My look today is very ordinary. Hence the fact that when I'm out with my apple pie, I need to be super comfy and still feel fab. Wearing a gillet which my sisie bought me at YDE, a while back. The fact that its sleeveless, enables you to either wear a fitted shirt or long-sleeve top inside and have the gilet loosely flowing over. The great thing about anything black and white is that you able to pair it with any pop of colour. Which I did by adding a bit of cerise accessories. Outfit details below and swiftly moving on.
