Berry Chic

Asalaamualaikum my  sugar-berries...... xoxoxo

So the time of spring is literally around the corner. With having said that. As much as I find myself to be more of a summer kind of  girl. Winter will surely be missed. So here is a quick look post requested by a few ladies... Asking me to specifically do more posts in a skirt attire . Wearing my shade of a berry maxi skirt from Mrs P Online and adding black and white to the look. Giving it that monochromatic feel with a touch of colour.

As I wanted this look to achieve a feel of chic-ness as well as glam. I decided to add a denim Jacket to the look. Creating that of a smart casual style. Which could simply be worn on a lunch date with friends or on a dinner date with hubby. The Black and white nuances are all summer purchases. Bought from YDE and shoes Aldo.  As a blessed South African... in that we don't experience the extremely cold weather. Apart to that odd cold fronts.  I find that we can basically transform a summer item and make it work in winter. I do it quite often and it works just perfectly for me. You can achieve it by adding a coat or jacket. Which I did.

I must say that the sweet tart bite of berry colors was a central theme for fall 2014, all in different shades of berry. From strawberry to cranberry and the list extends ..... This run of fresh bright colors was often shown in head to toe totality. Completely in love  with these  color.

I am also wearing my best-loved Lip colour Viva by by Mac, along with the lip pencil to achieve my berry lippies. Please do share your very special shade of berry for winter, be it your lipstick or a frock.

Until next time me ladies.
Share you berry thoughts
Keep it real!
Stay blessed
Much light and love
xoxo

The Kimono & a little bit of this and that.....

Assallamu Alaikum all you extraordinary peeps...

I have been swamped over the last few weeks and priming my brain about the fact that I need to habituate myself to this luxury lol. Alghamdillulah as my Bespoke brand progresses and grows from one strength to another, it leaves me feeling wonderfully blessed.

On another note, as I extended my Eid visit with my incredible family. I was able to partake in two events. One of which was a market day and the other a woman's breakfast. Alghamdillialh the response I got was phenomenal. Taking into consideration that it was my first. I also got to network and  met such astonishing woman. Ma Sha Allah. You have left me coming back for more.

In my look, I'm wearing a animal printed Kimono. As I have been looking for one for ages. Finally found one that fitted me perfectly and since I have received such positive feedback regarding. I am in the process of designing a few. To complete the look, I've paired it with boyfriend Jeans from @ Cotton on, High heeled pumps from Nine West and added a bit of colour to the look with a jade accessories and my channel handbag which I bought in my recent overseas trip.

Insha allah in my up coming posts, I will be posting about my street style interview that was featured on SABC 3, AnNur on 2 August 2014. So if you missed it... will have all details right here on me blog.

Until next time!

Le Pastel

Assallam to all you amazing souls.....

There is something about "Pastel Colours" that gives me butterflies in my belly.

When you think pastels, you probably think sunshine, gelato, swimsuits and white cut-off shorts — non? Well, I think that the pastel colour trend is just as wearable in Winter as it is in Summer.

Softer tones to wear during this years cooler months would be peach, baby pink, lilac and powder blue. These colours have been seen at many high-street press days and high end catwalks. Baby pink coats and cropped jackets are great for Autumn/Winter and they can be worn during spring too, so they are a fabulous investment.

Pastel tones have been massive for most of 2014 and you can see why, they look gorgeous on pale or tanned skin and they also look great paired with most colours. I know that this year pastel colours have been very popular but ladies, please don’t sling out all of your powdery coloured clothing just yet.....as it still has life left in it yet.
